Stripping on an aeroplane
So they are banning liquids and gels on airplanes because a "terrorist cell" was planning an attack on several flights using liquids bottles and cream tubes.
What's next? Strip searching and x-raying kids and seniors because "terrorists" could be embedding explosives in clothing and inside bodies?
Of course, before this only the criminals knew how to do this, but thanks to the media, everyone now knows how to do it.
Let's see: spend billions on airplane security so a few hundred won't die, but don't spend a cent to stop thousands from being killed (cars, murder, etc).
If we stopped making airplane terrorism a huge news story, "terrorist" would stop blowing them up.
